Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is one of the wealthiest and most well-known comic. The comedian has appeared seen on QI along alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea started her stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she was frequently performing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following her win of an award for in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016 and 2017 she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. She is only the second ever female winner of So You Think You're Funny. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Her father Brian was a vet for horses who committed suicide when she was just three years old. She didn't discover the reason of her death until 13 years later. In 2017, she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also took on the stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea as well as her older sister Sinead, were raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. She and her family loved horses, race meetings and the racing industry. Bea was initially a tourist guide at Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her love was performing and not racing.
